Continuing on #mentalhealthmonday (and promising more consistent posts). According to a Harvard University study, 45% of young adults (ages 18-25) reported that a general sense of things falling apart was impacting their mental health. It's relatable, right? What ever happened to living in precedented times?

What gives me hope is seeing the stigma around #mentalhealth conversations being pushed aside a little further each year. I feel in the decade I've been in therapy, I hear the words, "I was talking to my therapist," from other people more frequently and that inspires me to continue working on myself. Always growing, always learning, always remembering to meet myself with more compassion. I feel mental health is important to everyone, regardless of trauma, and I really hope that we become more comfortable having conversations, that at the time might seem uncomfortable, but in reality could save someone's life.

If you or someone you know needs help, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org/chat. And feel free to reach out to me if you just need someone to listen.
