
For #MentalHealthMonday: Let’s talk ADHD, hyperfixation, and finding joy in new hobbies. Recently, I’ve been deep into building and painting Warhammer 40k miniatures—it’s such a calming process. Planning the build and paint scheme, then juggling both, almost helps quiet the ADHD hive mind (sometimes it feels like I’ve just got a hive of bees buzzing around in there). It’s amazing how focusing on something creative can bring clarity. And while my dogs are totally useless when it comes to painting, they still boost my dopamine in their own way. 😉 So if you’re feeling scattered, find a hobby that pulls you in—it can make a world of difference.
